As a long-time fan of the San Diego craft brew culture I have been looking for a comprehensive website that covers all of the breweries, brewpubs, tasting rooms and local bars that feature craft beers from Southern California.

There are several websites that already post articles and reviews.  So what is going to make this website/blog any better, worthy of your eyeballs compared to them?

I have been a home brewer for almost 30 years, I am passionate about craft brewing (without being an overly arrogant bastard on the topic).  I have tons of friends that share my enthusiasm for the craft.  We have different style preferences and enjoy comparing and contrasting the beers within styles.

Our ultimate goal is to have a standing "Friday Happy Hour" livestream at a random brewery that is followed by a write-up and review of the establishment and its beer.  I can't guarantee that the livestream will be safe for young ears, but I am sure it will be entertaining to those that appreciate our brand of comedy.

I hope to have the site up and running in time for this year's Oktoberfest and will post updates as we get closer to launch.
